Joel Richman is Founder and Owner of Westlake Gold. With more than 14 years of experience in the precious metal and diamond business, Joel brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen to Westlake Gold. A local Westlake Village resident, Joel has been providing Ventura County with honest and upfront pricing and advice on jewelry, diamonds watches and coins since 2013. Joel is known for providing competitive and confidential transactions.
Prior to Westlake Gold, Joel opened and managed 14 Goldfellow stores throughout California, and spent 23 years in the insurance industry as accountant, controller and chief financial officer for large insurance brokerages. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from California State University, Northridge.

Had a silver medallioin which Westlake Gold evaluated for authenticity using 3 different instruments. The daily silver strike price was updated continuously on the display board which took any guess work out of the discussion. Just previously I had the medallion appraised by another silver/gold shop which greatly undercut the price. I feel I got a fair price at Westlake Gold where I was offered 12% below the strike price. The other gold/silver shop offered me 29% below the strike---adios to them. I feel you will get a good evaluation of your asset and a fair deal at Westlake Gold.
